Mission Statement of Zion’s Ministry

Zion is spoken of in the Bible as the dwelling place of God, a hill set apart, a refuge for the weary, and the promise of heaven itself. In this sacred light, Zion’s Ministry stands as the gathered body of believers in Jesus Christ, a ministry called to holiness, a sanctuary for the broken, and a tower awaiting the coming of the Lord.

The mission is to call men and women into the Kingdom of God through the preaching of the everlasting Gospel, to nurture believers in faith and holiness, to be a refuge of spiritual strength in the middle of the shadows of this dark world, and to ready the faithful for the return of Christ Jesus.

The ministry sets forth to accomplish this holy work by declaring with boldness the authority of the Bible as the word of God; by carrying the good news of salvation into the hills and hollers of our land; by calling all to repentance and to the saving grace of our Lord; and by urging souls to prepare for eternity by remaining obedient to God.

The ministry labors to bear one another’s burdens as a living testimony of God’s mercy, offering food for the hungry, healing paths for those bound by addiction, prayer for the afflicted, and fellowship for the lonely. In all these things, Zion’s Ministry seeks to be a lantern in the dark, pointing upward to that city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” – Matthew 28:19,20

Bible quotes are usually from the American Standard Version Byzantine Text or the King James Version.
